Discount Program

Ophthalmic Mutual Insurance Group (OMIC)

OMIC is an approved medical professional liability carrier of the Florida Society of Ophthalmology (FSO).

Effective January 1, 2023, OMIC insureds who are FSO members in good standing will receive a 5% discount upon renewal. OMIC insureds can then earn an additional 5% discount by attending an OMIC lecture at the Masters in Ophthalmology meeting or by completing an online OMIC course. OMIC insureds that attend the live event, will be required to sign or scan in to prove attendance. If an OMIC insured attends an OMIC lecture at the Masters in Ophthalmology or any other partner society meeting, and has not indicated their society membership, they will be awarded a 5% discount.
