Masters in Ophthalmology 2026 Brings Florida Ophthalmologists Together for Education and Connection The Florida Society of Ophthalmology welcomed physicians and trainees, exhibitors and sponsors, and guests from across the state for Masters in Ophthalmology 2026, held June 5-7 at the Four Seasons Orlando. Over three days, attendees participated in a comprehensive educational program featuring nationally recognized faculty, specialty-focused sessions and practical insights designed to support high-quality patient care. The meeting offered updates across a range of ophthalmic subspecialties while creating opportunities for physicians to exchange ideas and strengthen professional relationships. In addition to educational programming, Masters in Ophthalmology 2026 highlighted the important role advocacy plays in protecting patient access to physician-led eye care. Attendees heard updates on legislative and regulatory issues affecting ophthalmology in Florida and learned more about ongoing efforts to advance policies that support patients and the profession. The meeting also showcased the future of ophthalmology through its resident-focused programming and research presentations. Trainees from across Florida shared innovative research and clinical experiences that contributed to meaningful discussions throughout the weekend. Beyond the lecture hall, attendees and their families enjoyed a variety of networking and social events, including receptions, exhibitor activities and family-friendly programming. These opportunities allowed colleagues to reconnect, build new relationships and celebrate the shared commitment to advancing eye care in Florida. During the Annual Business Meeting, FSO members elected new officers and board members and recognized physicians and organizations whose leadership, service, research and advocacy have made a lasting impact on ophthalmology and patient care. FSO extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of Masters in Ophthalmology 2026. We look forward to building on the momentum of this year's meeting and continuing to serve as Florida's leading advocate for the specialty of ophthalmology.
